LPO Board Chair Appointed

Mr Nicholas Reaburn has recently accepted the position of Chair of the City of Launceston Philharmonic Orchestra.

Nick, a lawyer during the day, has an extensive background corporate governance and business finance.  As well as his legal and business credentials, Nick is a passionate musician.  He is a member of the French Horn section of the LPO and University of Tasmania Wind Orchestra.  Before studying law at university Nick study music performance at university and was a member of the Melbourne Youth Orchestra, Elizabethan Trust Orchestra and one of his “claims to fame” is performing on the Young Talent Time recordings!

The LPO Board looks forward to Nick’s strong leadership as the orchestra establishes itself as Tasmania’s leading community orchestra.
