The on-going success of the orchestra couldn’t happen without the generosity of our community of supporters to whom we are extremely grateful. Your support enables us to continue to provide Launceston and its surrounds with dynamic musical performances, internationally acclaimed soloists and conductors, and our Outreach and Education programme.
At the heart of the LPO lies a commitment to ensuring that people of all ages and walks of life have the opportunity to experience live instrumental music.

There are a variety of ways to invest in the success of your orchestra:
The Outreach and Education programme
This programme hopes to reach the young and old alike and brings the experience of live music to many who through geography, mobility or other circumstances may not receive these opportunities.
Should you wish to tailor your donation towards a specific activity $900 sponsors a series of school visits, $350 for one preschool visit, $150 for a player mentor or $8000 sponsors a week long residency in a primary school.
Music Library
Make a lasting contribution to the LPO’s Music Library by purchasing a specific music score from the ‘wish-list’ of music or making a donation towards music hire. Donating to our library is a very special contribution that goes on giving throughout the life of the orchestra.
Chair Programme
This is the ideal way for supporters to tailor their gift to a specific instrument or player in the orchestra. By investing directly in our players you help secure the future of the orchestra. Chair sponsorship starts at $150 or you can invest with others as partner support or as part of a syndicate at a variety of levels.
